Introduction
It has been reported for many years that sustained caloric restriction without nutritional deficiencies increases the length of life and prevents developement and/or progression of some age-related chronic diseases.

The overall purpose of this study is to gain knowledge about the effects of two years of food restriciton in reducing the risk of disease associated with aging and in slowing the aging process.

A six-month trial was completed at Pennington as part of the first phase of testing. The current study is second phase and will be completed through a two-year testing period.

Please read the study brochure and review the sample calendar links below. These items will further explain the study and your time committments if you join.
